Teacher Feature, Dirt Trucks add to May 19 show at Hamilton County Speedway

May 17, 2018

The historic Hamilton County Speedway driven by Spangler Automotive is set for this Saturday, May 19, with a full program of on-track excitement for fans of the legendary dirt track in Webster City, Iowa.

With last week’s interruption by Mother Nature, this Saturday will see the debut for the Malvern Bank Super Late Models on the super-fast, super-smooth half-mile clay oval, along with the Olsen Family USRA Modifieds, Seneca Foundry USRA Stock Cars, Stein Heating & Cooling USRA B-Mods, Diamond in the Rough USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Tuners on the six-division card for the Summit USRA Weekly Racing Series.

And this week is the inaugural “Teacher Feature” where area school teachers and administrators will put on a racing suit, strap on a helmet, buckle up and battle on the track behind the wheel of a race car as they try to school each other with an A+ driving effort.

That’s not all. This Saturday will also be the first of several visits by the popular DTRA Dirt Trucks.
