Sathoff, Green, Griffith, Monson, Hogan heroes in HCS lidlifter

WEBSTER CITY, Iowa (May 2, 2026)—High-octane action returned to Hamilton County Speedway on Saturday night, featuring a full slate of competitive racing across five divisions at the historic Webster City oval.

In the USRA Modified feature, Lyle Sathoff of Sherburn, Minn., charged from the pole position to claim the victory. He was followed by Ben Nading of Ankeny, Bill Crimmins of Fort Dodge, Jason Hahne of Webster City and Jason Bass of Fort Dodge.

The USRA Stock Cars saw Derek Green of Granada, Minn., navigate his way from the third starting spot to take the checkered flag. Brandon Hare of Elma secured the runner-up position, while Travis Shipman of Mason City, Todd Staley of Webster City and Parker Slagle of Eagle Grove rounded out the top five.

Ty Griffith of Blairsburg dominated the USRA B-Mod main event, holding off a strong field to secure the win. Kaeden Bronner of Austin, Minn., finished second, followed by Oliver Sackett of Pierson, Doug McCollough of Webster City and Jake Richards of Lansing, Kan.

In USRA Hobby Stock action, Joshua Monson of Clear Lake climbed from his third-place starting spot to earn the win. Scott Dobel of Manly finished in the second position, while Riley Crimmins of Fort Dodge, Tyler Crimmins of Fort Dodge and Jeremy Wegner of Greattinger completed the top five.

The Crown Vic feature was highlighted by Nate Hogan of Fort Dodge, who powered his way to the front for the win. Nick Sawdy of Fort Dodge finished second, followed by Jim Hogan of Fort Dodge, Gerald Ford of Webster City and Travis Volz of Frost, Minn.
