Karl Chevrolet new title sponsor of Hamilton County Speedway

April 13, 2021

Driven to be the best, officials from the historic Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa, are excited to announce that the new Karl Chevrolet Buick GMC in Webster City will be the title sponsor of the popular racetrack through 2023.

“We are honored to be working with Karl Chevrolet Buick GMC and their excellent team here in Webster City and throughout Iowa,” said the track’s General Manager Sarah Ratcliff. “Race fans will see a snazzy new Karl Chevrolet pace track leading every exciting main event at the track, and the people in and around Webster City will benefit greatly from the company’s new location in our hometown.”

The new auto dealership officially opened its doors on Wednesday, January 13. The new location in Webster City added a third franchise dealership in Iowa for Carl Moyer, owner of Karl Chevrolet, and another opportunity to expand his Dealer for Life philosophy of taking care of customers across the state.

Under Moyer’s ownership, along with Managing Partner Bryan Spangler, the dealership will have access to all the Karl Chevrolet, Karl Chevrolet of Stuart and Karl Pre-owned Glidden inventory, providing a large selection of new and pre-owned vehicles.

Future plans call for moving the dealership to a larger space before the end of 2021, with a plan to build a new state-of-the-art facility off Highway 20 within five years.

“Over the coming years we’ll be working through General Motors and we’ve brought on Peterson Construction, a local company, to help us. Then we’ll be working through the design and needs of that space,” said Anthony Mills, head of marketing for Karl Chevrolet. ““Our goal is to have a larger space to better serve the community there, as well as increase jobs and opportunity in Webster City.”
