BOONE RIVER BAYOU: The biggest race of the summer is coming next Tuesday and Wednesday, June 26-27, with the inaugural Boone River Bayou Dirt Track Championships. Last year's attempted launch was washed out by Mother Nature, and once again the nation’s best drivers in four big classes will be battling for some incredible paydays at the historic half-mile in Webster City, Iowa, this year.

Both nights will also be a part of the popular Iron Man Challenge for Stock Cars and B-Mods with two complete shows on deck for Stock Cars, B-Mods and Hobby Stocks.

Tuesday’s preliminaries will see the Stock Car winner taking home $700, the B-Mod winner gets $600 and the Hobby Stock feature winner will pocket $500 with the top eight finishers in each class locked into Wednesday’s main events. Tuners will also run a complete show on Tuesday only with a $200 top prize up for grabs for the four-cylinder racers.

Also on Tuesday will be the King of the Hill match races for Stock Cars, B-Mods and Hobby Stocks. Two cars will battle for two green-white-checkered laps with the winner advancing to the next round and the loser packing his bags. The overall winner will take the entire pot in each class.

Big bucks and bragging rights are up for grabs on Wednesday. Stock Cars will compete for a $2,500 top prize while B-Mod drivers will duke it out for $2,000 to win and Hobby Stocks for $1,200 to win.
